TABOR is one of the primary causes that Colorado has had a consistently thriving economy. It is under never ending and increasing assault by the Left who wants more of your money. The safety clause, ever heard of it? It is a mechanism meant to get around a Colorado Constitutional requirement which allows the people of Colorado 60 days to bring a petition to require a public vote on a bill before the bill becomes law. The safety clause takes that petition power away from the citizens of Colorado. What do a two-year-old and the Colorado State Legislature have in common? They’re both stubborn, immature and insistent on having their own way.
