3.27 Egyptian Middle Kingdom Pt. 2

from Vol. 1 The Christian History Podcast · host Not Theology. Just how world history intersects with Christian history.

In this episode, I walk through the history of the Middle Kingdom from about 1914 to 1806 BC. It was sometime during this period where Joseph was sold into Egyptian slavery, sent to prison, released, and became the vizier of Egypt. Probably towards the end of the period, his bothers make their multiple trips to the kingdom, and finally his father, Jacob, and the rest of his family arrived there. The beginning of the 400 or so year exile. And, this episode walks through the country he would have experienced. Next week, I’ll continue the history of the Middle Kingdom. After listening, let me know what you think. https://www.facebook.com/ChristianHistoryPodcast/
