On Holy Thursday, Jesus show us his scandalous generosity through the gift of the Last Supper. On this night He instituted the mysteries of the Eucharist and the Priesthood. He does not suggest we remember a symbol of this meal, but commands us to do this in remembrance of Him. In giving us himself, he draws us in to the mystery of divine love regardless of our sinfulness.
