3.29 [TEACHING] The Sacred Fire - Holiness for Lent (wk 5)

Ryan Yazel - Matthew 8, Matthew 5:13-16  As we continue our lenten series on holiness, we pick up the theme "set apart" and begin to ask ourselves "for what purpose?" and "to what extent?" The church has taken many approaches through the centuries, regarding how distant or engaged it has been with the world around it, with some approaches looking more like the example of Jesus than others. At the end of this week's episode (and future episodes while our gatherings are suspended), you'll hear some questions for response. Call 574-387-2151 and leave a voicemail response. Then, on Thursday, April 2, we'll release an [OPEN FLOOR] episode featuring your responses. Here are those questions:  Consider how you can create some beauty or goodness for the world in this unsettled time, let us know what you did and how it went. Return to some practices this week: prayer, meditation, almsgiving, the examen, or another favorite.
