关于外公 2016-11-04 14:50 作者:糊糊大人来源:三联生活周刊 外公从不关心人,从不理会自己之外的世界。他活在那个女孩美丽的笑容里,于是整个世界也笑了。 我曾经对人说,我喜欢老人。这是真的。人有了年纪,就有了智慧,能看透一般人无法了解的状态。老了会变得谦逊,得失也能看到另一个角度了。他们不是退化跟不上时代了,其实是进化了。我们常自作聪明。 自我记事起,外公的精神就有点问题。 对于外公的第一个印象就是,他坐在椅子上,一个人莫名其妙地就笑了起来。外婆和外公关系不好,很早就分房睡,基本无交流,除非是要他干什么活,不然就是争吵。其实,也谈不上是什么争吵,无非是外婆生气,外公却压根儿不作理会。而后,我常常思考,外婆或许觉得最悲哀的事情,正是外公的冷漠。那种可以对每天睡在枕边的人视而不见的冷漠,才是最可怕的东西。 其实关于外公精神的问题来源,我一直不太清楚,也不敢太过问,特别是在外婆面前。只记得多年前小姨生小孩,我们去探望,那天晚上很多人挤在一张床上,睡梦中,听到外婆和妈妈聊起。似乎是外公年轻的时候,在一家窑上做工,在那里爱上了一个送他西瓜吃的女孩,而后他对这个女孩魂牵梦萦,从此落下病根。那晚其实我一直醒着,妈妈必定是以为我睡着了。 后来我一直在猜想,那是怎样的女孩,可以让一个男人从此神魂颠倒,丢了自己。 关于外公的第二个印象,就是象棋。那时候每逢去外公家,就会见到他和舅舅下棋。舅舅比我只大5岁,和他同年纪的孩子那时候村里很多,每次家里都是络绎不绝冲象棋来的人。他们下象棋不太较真,纯属娱乐,可以悔棋,甚至会给对方出招。我外公还会吹口琴,据说还会拉二胡。在常人不太能理解的世界里,他把自己的日子过得津津有味。 我那疯外公虽说人糊涂点,但也落得清闲。他倒是对花草树木有格外的感情,外婆家屋后的柿子树,便是他当年的功劳。记得那时我和老弟淘气,把树上刚长出的柿子摘了不少回来,还很兴奋地全搬回家,理所当然挨了外公一顿脾气。如今,他已去世多年,但那棵柿子树依然每年开着花、结着果。有一阵他还迷上了养蜜蜂,把蜜蜂的蜂箱放在他房间的窗户边方便它们进出。蜜蜂的确是很聪明的动物,早出晚归,但"为谁辛苦为谁忙",它们大概也是不计较的。我记得老弟曾被外公家的蜜蜂蜇过,但大部分时间它们很乖,人不犯它们,它们倒是不会主动攻击人。 外公是个疯狂的人。我们常人的确没办法理解他的作为,就像没法理解他整天莫名其妙的笑。他去世前的一段时间,突发奇想跑到山上的树林里自己做了个床,晚上就在那里睡。那时候天气还很冷,不多久他就病重,我妈带着我赶去的时候他已经躺在床上,奄奄一息,这就是最后一面。后来,他们一致认为是在山上睡的日子里着了凉,要了他的命。 外公从不关心人,从不理会自己之外的世界。他活在那个女孩美丽的笑容里,于是整个世界也笑了。 http://www.lifeweek.com.cn/2016/1104/48392.shtml
