3/30/25 - Delores Davis

Delores Davis is a great woman to wrap up Women's History Month with a 'bow' of living one's best life to the fullest. At age 95, Delores continues to be active and involved in her community.  Delores gave more than 30 years of her life as a Social Worker supporting children in foster care.  She was also a devoted mother of six, who she raised alone following the death of her husband. It was this early loss that would ultimately lead Delores to essentially a new career, as a writing instructor and author. Since the younger children had little memory of their dad, Delores set to writing the family history, teaching herself computer use to help accomplish this goal.
