3.36 The New Kingdom Part 5

from Vol. 1 The Christian History Podcast · host Not Theology. Just how world history intersects with Christian history.

In this episode, I continue the journey through the ancient Egyptian New Kingdom, covering Pharaohs Akhenaten and Smenkhkare. They reigned between 1353 and 1334 BC. Depending on the Exodus date you choose to believe, this was either just after the 40 years of wandering, or just before the Exodus. And, the Egyptian Empire controlled much of Canaan at this time, so either way, the Pharaoh influenced the lives of the Israelites. Next week, I’ll continue the history of the New Kingdom. After listening, let me know what you think.
