In this episode, I work my way through the period when Egypt was ruled by the Persians. Beginning at the end of Darius’s reign, through Xerxes, including a summary of the war with Greece, the assassination of Xerxes, and through the end of Artaxerxes rule. I also cover what is known about the satrap’s who governed Egypt and the internal rebellions in that ancient kingdom.
