3.50 The 3rd Intermediate Period Part 8: Egypt Ruled by Persia Part 3

from Vol. 1 The Christian History Podcast · host Not Theology. Just how world history intersects with Christian history.

In this episode, I continue to work my way through the period when Egypt was ruled by the Persians, then were briefly independent, only to be subjugated by the Persians again. This period included many conflicts with the Persians, and two different native Pharaohs who would flee their own country. One escaping to his sworn enemy, the Persians, and the other to Nubia. Overall, this episode covers Egypt between the years 361 and 338 BC. After listening, let me know what you think.
