I just gave out the letters from the IUSD math department to your children regarding next year’s math placement. I also wanted to send out a couple clarifying pieces of information. All the info you need is on that letter. There are only 2 options for math next year (Math      7 and Enhanced Math 7/8) Math 7 is exactly where you are supposed to be Many students who are placed in Enhanced Math 7/8      often choose not to take that course and opt for Math 7 The scores for the 2 tests don’t tell you a lot      of information. The district average for the basic skills test       is 80% The district average for the End of Course       assessments is 56% Should you have any questions about your child’s      scores or next year’s placement don’t hesitate to email me or stop by. Thank you, Mr. Gray
