The request for political asylum or refuge status is being used by some as cover to enter the country. With that in mind the Aurora ICE facility is expanding its focus on people who are seeking refuge status. Some detainees in that same facility are currently engaged in a hunger strike in protest of the conditions within that facility. Michael Cohen meet with Rep. Adam Schiff's staff for more than ten hours prior to his testimony. The meeting was to discuss "topics that might come up" during the hearing. Frank Hawkins is a former U.S Army Intelligence office and former Associated Press correspondent.
