3 Art Questions Overview

Three Art Questions I was recently asked to answer three questions about art practice that were more nuanced and challenging than I thought they should be. The questions are simple, but trying to answer them was not. This may be because I felt like my particular answers didn’t fit a narrative that I would expect and it may be because my answers weren’t what I would expect anyone else to say. Since I only have my perspectives to work with, I really don’t know for sure what another artist’s true narrative is. So I’m going to attempt to reach out and ask you, my artist friends, how do you answer these questions? How did you get into art in the first place – personally and professionally?  What do you get from creating using different media (drawing versus painting, etc.)? How can artists best support each other – personally and professionally? I would love to hear your feedback, at your convenience. Thanks so very much!
