Caleb Halvorson was a young Fort Worth firefighter working overtime to pay off NICU bills for his newborn son. September 3rd, 2025 was supposed to be a slow shift. Then he spotted smoke off the highway and went in aggressive, the way he always did. The carport folded him like a lawn chair. He was trapped for one minute and 44 seconds while it burned. When they finally pulled him out, his skin came off in their hands. His first words: "Don't let me die. I have a kid in the NICU."
