- Dan Cnossen is a 2002 graduate of the United States Naval Academy-After graduating the Academy, he became a Navy SEAL in 2003 and deployed numerous times in support of global special operations. -In 2009, while deployed to Afghanistan, he was severely injured after stepping on an IED.
