3. Divided: Grow Together

This week we continue our series called DIVIDED with a focus on the fact that We Need Each Other To Grow - The Bible tells us that we belong to each other, we are commanded to love each other and next we need each other to grow as followers of Jesus. These commands that teach us to come together are called the "One Another" passages of scripture. The word in Greek translated into English "One Another" is Allelon. The word occurs 100 times in the NT and 59 of those are specific commands teaching us how to relate to each other. Growth is important if you are a Christian. If you have decided to follow Jesus He wants you to grow up and become what is called Spiritually mature. Spiritual Maturity will give you: Insight and wisdom You will be able to handle the difficulties in life well You will make good decisions You will have knowledge of right and wrong God cares a lot about your spiritual maturity.
