Edda var ansi óviss með að taka þátt - enda þolir hún ekki svona keppnir eða þrautaþætti að eigin sögn. Hún hefur hins vegar slegið í gegn með frammistöðu sinni og við forvitnuðumst um viðbrögðin sem hún hefur fengið, eftirminnilega móment og auðvitað var talað um grínið í víðara samhengi.   Alex Horne er skapari Taskmaster þáttana og í hlutverki aðstoðarmannsins í upprunalegu útgáfunni í Bretlandi. Þessi hugmynd sem varð fyrst til á sviði á Edinborgar-hátíðinni árið 2009 hefur nú ferðast til yfir 17 landa. Við fengum að forvitnast um allt Taskmaster ævintýrið, hvernig þrautirnar verða til og bera saman bækur um reynsluna við framleiðslu þáttanna.    ---   Edda Björgvins is the guest on today’s episode. She was quite hesitant about taking part—by her own admission, she can’t stand these kinds of competitions or challenge-based shows. However, she has made a big impression with her performance, and we were curious to hear about the reactions she’s received, memorable moments, and of course we also discussed comedy in a broader context.   Alex Horne is the creator of the Taskmaster series and of course the assistant in the original UK version. The concept, which first originated on stage at the Edinburgh Festival in 2009, has now spread to over 17 countries. We got to dig into the whole Taskmaster journey—how the tasks are created and got to compare notes on the experience of producing the show.
