The third episode of Humans of Authenticity sheds the spotlight on a softer side of us: Family and Languages. I've had the privilege to sit down with the multi-award winner Danielle Duran Baron, MA, MBA, FASAE, CAE (she/her) to look at how families impact our personalities. A fun case in point: Blue Beetle. We then expanded our sense of family to a network of supportive and loved ones around us. We also touched on language in this episode. If the conversation with Jourdian Godley highlights the key to communication is more than just language but the intention behind a message, Danielle unpacked the cultural layers of language for us this time. Putting this in a professional context, how do these pieces come together to paint an authentic portrait of ourselves? Professionally, Danielle is currently the Vice President, Marketing, Communications & Industry Relations at the School Nutrition Association, where she led the Marketing and Communications Center to win two ASAE's Gold Circle Awards for Best Video and Best Website in 2023. She is also the President of Luminus. Have you enjoyed these conversations so far? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
