Life can get complicated. Some of us ladies were lucky to have the best environment growing up, with the most supportive and present parents. And on the other hand, many other ladies weren’t so fortunate. It doesn’t have to mean a physical abusive childhood. But lots of people had caretakers who were emotionally absent. We cannot change the past but what we can do is to start showing up for ourselves. We need to start caring for our wounded inner child with compassion, the same way we would do for a beloved friend. Only then can we master our emotions, understand ourselves on a deeper level and seriously begin the self healing journey.
