#3 Intersectionality: The Female Experience

from Wishing You Love · host Thaysa & Gabi

THE PODCAST IS BACK! After quite a bit of a break, With Love, You is back but with a different name and an extra host! In this episode, Thaysa & Gabi jump right back into things from the last writing prompt from about a year ago. The prompt was "How does the statement of 'The female experience is often diminished.' make you feel? Do you identify or relate? Do you agree? Do you have any personal experience that supports or discourages that statement?" So, with that as our base, we discuss the idea of Intersectionality through the lens of the female experience. We discuss reactions and feelings to living in a patriarchal society as women. We also touch on how intersections overlap with the increased violence against Asian Americans due to the stigma of COVID. If you would like to learn more about this topic or would like to support those that are fighting this battle, here are Anti-Asian Violence Resources: anti-asianviolenceresources.carrd.co/ ~ If you would like to submit a writing entry for the next podcast, here is the Google form you can fill out: https://forms.gle/VAW5hLWy3wPXq2HJA.
