3: Letting the Lord Lead with Ally Powell
from I AM HealingStrong · host Suzy
In this episode, American Journalist, former News Reporter, and HealingStrong podcast co-host Allyson Powell shares her journey in letting the Lord lead after experiencing a difficult loss. Ally and her husband Landon (who currently played Major League Baseball at the time) gave birth to twins, Ellie and Izzy 8 years ago. Izzy was born with a potentially fatal genetic disease called HLH, which required chemotherapy treatment and a bone marrow transplant. Izzy did not survive, and joined her creator just 5 months after she was born. Ally and Landon travel the country telling Izzy’s story and how the Lord carried them through that portion of their lives. HealingStrong's mission is to educate, equip and empower our group leaders and group participants through their journey with cancer or other chronic illnesses, and know there is HOPE. We bring this hope through educational materials, webinars, guest speakers, conferences, community small group support and more. Please take advantage of our FREE resources below to help you along your health and healing journey:Support Group DirectoryHolistic Curriculum - Participant GuideSupport Our Mission - DonateAdditional Health ResourcesListen to Previous EpisodesWebsite: healingstrong.org
