3. Living Hope - 1 Peter 1:13-2:3

Hope is an interesting thing… We use the word lightly, but in reality hope is to be one of the strongest elements of the Christian life. Scripture calls us to hope in Jesus, His promises, His sacrificial death, His return, and His kingdom. When we begin to do this we find spiritual fruit produced in us that engages us in holiness, obedience, love, and unity. This fruit is only produced in believers, and should truly set us apart from the world. The question is: Are we bearing this fruit? Key passage: 1 Peter 1:13 (ESV) - Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
