#3: Medicine... Was It All Worth It?

When you think about going into medicine, do you think about why you chose the field? Do you look back and wonder, “I thought medicine would be so much different than I know it to be now?”  To choose a subspecialty today, you have to have an immense amount of confidence in the unknown.  Tim talks about how this can become an undercurrent of self-doubt.  It takes a ton of digging deep and honing in on what you do well, knowing what you want to do with your life in a general sense, and recognizing the inevitable storms to weather.
