When I was growing up, my birthday was never celebrated with a cake that was just for me. My older sister’s birthday is only one day apart from mine, so our birthdays always had to be celebrated together when we were little. Since I’ve grown up, I have lived apart from my family for a long time. However, I have an unforgettable birthday memory, too. It was when I went to Korea to give birth to my older daughter. A week after I gave birth, I turned 30 years old. My mom had prepared a whole cake just for me! It was a light pink cream cake, and very girly.
