Made May 30th: Record heat for Poughkeepsie New York expected tomorrow. Cool winds off the Atlantic develop tomorrow afternoon in Boston. GFS and Euro model both have their share in accuracy. GFS brought the hurricane into awareness last week. Dew points under 70° despite high soil moisture in Missouri. Very dry soil in Massachusetts may play a role in 90° heat for tomorrow, but backdoor cold front off 55° ocean drops temps towards 60 or lower in Boston. Strong storm system in Dakotas brings precipitation with storms some strong or severe across Midwest this evening and again tomorrow evening. Storms tomorrow evening in Chicago. Cold front moves through Midwest tomorrow night ending the 86°+ warmth. 86° - 96° heat continues tomorrow out east and for Baltimore even on Wednesday. Temps closer to 86 in Midwest and closer to 96 close to Baltimore next to the downslope winds. In theory 96° would also develop in the dry soil of Massachusetts. Hurricane discussion is not included on this podcast. Hurricane Agatha will move into Mexico tonight and fall apart as it passes through the mountain range. As the weak system moves into the Gulf of Mexico there is potential for tropical storm formation to occur but doesn't look to be strong at this time.
