Notice how uncomfortable it may feel at first, and remind yourself that “No” is a complete sentence. Each time you choose this, you are strengthening your boundaries and honoring your own needs.  Questions for our Listeners: 1) Am I saying "yes" because I want to-or because I'm afraid of disappointing someone? 2) What would it look like to give myself the same compassion I give others? 3) If I say no right now, will this person be able to honor and respect my boundary?
