Many times we SEE what we’ve been preconditioned to see… 👀 Two stories in the Old Testament, 40 years apart, illustrate this. 👇 Story 1– The 12 spies felt like grasshoppers compared to the giants in the promised land. Numbers 13-14 Story 2– 2 spies meet Rahab, who reveals the people of Jericho (the “giants”) have been “melting in fear” for 40 years— because they feared the children of Israel. Joshua 2 🤷‍♂️   It happens all the time to us.
