That childhood play developed into a career where I have been devoted to seniors for the last 25 years. In 2009, I began my career in Assisted Living and Memory Care. I found my true passion, helping struggling families as they make difficult decisions for a parent, spouse or loved one. I continue to serve families as Community Liaison for Home Instead (Home Care). My love of helping others extends to the community as well. I served for 4 years as a board member of CAP of Pearland (Community Assistance Providers), 2 years as a steering committee member for the Brazoria County Alzheimer’s Awareness Project, and a previous board member for the United Way EPSN (Elder Services Provider Network) in Houston. When I am not serving the seniors in the community, I can be found volunteering for Houston Area Doberman Rescue, where I have been a board member for 12 years. My favorite service to the community was as part of a Pet Therapy Team. I and my late Doberman, Bella, and were a registered Pet Therapy team and we visited memory care communities, nursing homes, and Rehab hospitals, bringing smiles and joy to all that we met. I and the love of my life, Mike, have been married for 37 years. We enjoy fishing, boating, ballroom dancing, and, of course, our Dobermans, Chica Chica Boom Boom, and Niko Suave!______________________________________________________________Contact Kim Hegwood- Elder Law AttorneyWebsite: https://yourlegacylegalcare.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/yourlegacylegalcare/Facebook –https://www.facebook.com/YourLegacyLegalCareLinkedIn-https://www.linkedin.com/company/yourlegacylegalcare/YouTube- https://www.youtube.com/@yourlegacylegalcareYour Legacy Legal Care 1150 Clear Lake City Blvd., Suite 100 Houston, TX 77062 (281) 218-0880
