3. River Crossing Intensive With Ned Tibbits

In this episode, the THRU-r community welcomes Ned Tibbits - a PCT and JMT thru-hiker as well as a Wilderness Skills Instructor (among many other things!!). Ned has hiked, taught, and conducted rescue efforts in the Sierra section of the PCT for many years, and he is a great resource for information on river crossings, snow travel, and safety. Here, we include the recording from our interactive Zoom meetup to help hikers prepare for the upcoming season.  Ned has founded a non-profit organization which promotes wilderness safety called Mountain Education.
