Philip Turner established The Chestnut Group in May 2012. He had the vision to create a family of holsteries, under the Chestnut umbrella, which would defy pigeon-holing into the standard classifications of pub, hotel or restaurant, but be simply synonymous with a great experience. They've created six such eateries in less than four years. A profound achievement only exceeded by their ability to maintain such excellent standards. A grounded and driven man.
