In today's episode, Jen goes over the horrific abuse case of Genie Wiley. A child who was endured one of the worst cases of abuse by her own father. Her father strapped Genie down to a makeshift potty chair from the time she was 2 until she was thirteen. Her mother would soon leave the home with Genie. One day her mother went to receive benefits for her blindness, and entered the wrong department. This is when social workers noticed something off about Genie. Genie Wiley was abused to the point she had no first language, couldn't read, write, speak or even eat. She endured many years of abuse.
