3 Things I’m Leaving In My 30s

from Redefining Wealth with Patrice Washington · host Patrice Washington

For the last 39 years, I have carried certain mindsets and attitudes that have gotten me to where I am today. However, as I cross over into my 40s, I am letting go of limiting beliefs that no longer serve me and chasing a purpose that only contributes to my peace, joy, or happiness.    My focus for this year is to be content. While my 20s were focused on pleasing people and gaining influence and my 30s consisted of rebuilding, I am now at a point in my life where I am  prepared to remove anything that stands in the way of contentment. I’m ready to see what God can do when I remove the limits and I’m starting with 3 key things that I believe are better left in my 30s:   An Attachment To Unnecessary Numbers - 08:00 Actions Based On Title or Labels That I Didn’t Choose or No Longer Serve Me - 25:00  Anything Someone Else Thinks I Should Do - 45:30   I believe these limiting beliefs will not take me to the next level. Tune in as I share the lessons and reflections that brought me to this decision, as well as my plan for progress and growth as I chase my personal goals in this new season of life!   This episode is brought to you by my new book, Redefine Wealth For Yourself: How To Stop Chasing Money and Finally Live Your Life’s Purpose.    Through stories, principles, and practical exercises based on the Six Pillars of Wealth, this book serves as a guide to take you step by step through the process of creating a life of peace, purpose, and prosperity. If you’re tired of chasing money and ready to pursue your purpose, this holistic guide to wealth is for you.
