3 Ways to Deal with Your Broken Heart at Work

People, let's be real for a sec. Work sucks. Granted, there are companies out there investing silly amounts of money on team building (read: free beer  and fooze ball tables), motivational speakers, open workspaces... whatever the latest thing is... ... but work still sucks. If you don't believe me, check out the numerous 'work sucks' memes on any social media site.  Some of them are spot on and hella funny! So what happens when you're heartbroken and you still have to show up to work every day?  I break 3 ways you can start to move through your heartbreaking situation while being at work. A word to employers: Recognizing when your employee is going through a personal issue is huge. It won't set you up for a lawsuit or get you in trouble with HR... it's called compassion. It's called kindness. Show your employees the same level of customer service that you expect them to show to your customers.
