In rugby union and league – well the NFL actually: The San Francisco 49ers will play the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, pitching Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes against Brock Purdy in an intriguing David versus Goliath battle.Mahomes will be playing in his fourth Super Bowl in five years and is on a 10-year, US$450Million contract, while Purdy will be making his first trip, signed at a paltry US$3.7M for four years, after being drafted by San Francisco with the final pick of the 2022 NFL draft. In Football: After beating Zambia in their knockout game in the AFCON Cup, the Angolan national team has received a major boost ahead of their quarterfinal against Nigeria this Friday, with promises of US$250,000 cash, iphones and more to beat Nigeria. It is not clear in the reports if that is all the cash for the team to share and just one iphone for all of them to fight over?In Boxing: Aussie World Champ Tim Tszyu has moved on from trying to fight Jermell Charlo, claiming the American is 'a coward'.Flying out to the US a on one-way ticket to Las Vegas to prepare for his fight against two-time world champion Keith Thurman, headlining a mega-money pay-per-view blockbuster on 30 March, the undefeated Tszyu told immigration officials . . I think that should be reporters: “I've come to the conclusion that I'm never going to fight him because he's a bit of a coward and finally, all the sanctioning bodies are realising that he's a fraud.'Finally in Sportsbiz: You know how Taylor Swift is in a relationship with Kansa City Chiefs Aussie-Samoan star, Jordan Mailata or is it Travis Kelce?Anyway, you do know that the Chiefs are in Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers right?OK so the night before Super Bowl on 12 February in Las Vegas, Taylor Swift is playing a concert for all her Japanese Swiftees in the Tokyo Dome. The $66Million question is: How much will it mean to the NFL and the broadcasters’ bottom line if she doesn’t make it to the game?Or put another way – how much does she really love whatshisname? And that’s a wrap! For TeivovoSports.com I’m Culden Kamea – please hit the like and subscribe buttons below if you want to receive more Pasifika sports highlights on Breakfast Bites.Mahalo, Kakite and tank you all too mas for all your love and support.#TEIVOVORugby #TEIVOVODigital #TeivovoRugby #TeivovoDigital #rugby #rugby7s #FijiRugby #rugbyunion #rugbyleague #Raka #team #rugbytraining #sports #FRU #Fiji #womensrugby #rugbygirls #wrugby #ladiesrugby #womeninsport #woman #rugby #rugby7s #FijiRugby #rugbyunion #rugbyleague #fitness #weightlifting #training #team #rugbytraining #sports #rakavi #DevelopmentFiji
