Hilde Gaukler, geboren in Bergen im Chiemgau, hat 1969 die Skischule Achental am Balsberg in Unterwössen mitgegründet. Generationen von Einheimischen- und Gästekindern haben in der Skischule Achental am Balsberg und auf der Winklmoosalm das Skifahren gelernt. Hilde Gaukler hat über Jahrzehnte hinweg den Wintersport in der Region geprägt und ist eine wichtige Figur für Einheimische und Gäste im Achental. Sie ist noch heute als Skilehrerin aktiv und ist nach Lebens-Stationen in London, München und Prien heute in Staudach-Egerndach bei uns im Achental zuhause.  Ende November war sie zum "Auf a Wort im Achental"-Interview zu Gast in der Tourist-Info im Alten Bad in Unterwössen.
