Dr. Lawrence (Larry) Rosen, MD is a sought-after pediatric integrative medicine physician who advocates for family and child wellness nationally.  Website at www.lawrencerosenmd.com He has so much wisdom and experience as a yoga teacher and mind-body expert in the field of mindfulness and resilience.  Dr. Rosen, MD authentically discusses how to get started with the simplest of active rest and relaxation techniques. He also talks about ways we resist healing and how to overcome self-defeating thoughts.  We even go through some of our own personal experiences that led us to the field of integrative medicine and ultimately empower others to heal themselves. He also has been a part of one of the biggest movements in child wellness at Whole Health Ed. He is the co-author of "Treatment Alternatives for Children," an evidence-informed guide for parents interested in natural solutions for common childhood ailments. He served the field of pediatric integrative medicine at by being a founding member and previous Chair at the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Integrative Medicine and won the Pioneer of Integrative Medicine Award in 2015! Dr. Rosen is appointed as Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University. A graduate of New York Medical College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he completed his residency and chief residency in pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr. Rosen received his yoga teacher certification under the guidance of Ben Wisch and Denise DeLuca and teaches yoga and meditation to medical students.
