from ITS FOOTBALL DAY PODCAST · host Louis Smith
Welcome to ITS FOOTBALL DAY, a podcast where two lads give their unfiltered opinions on the game of football. It was definitely a quieter week of football compared to last episode but Episode 30 is still jam packed with some quality content.Newcastle snatched a point against a dominant Liverpool who failed to take their chances, Chelsea beat top 4 rivals West Ham which included a controversial red card which has since been overturned and Burnley score 4, yes 4 goals, away from home... against Wolves 🤯Elsewhere, Everton beat Arsenal to keep their Europa League spot alive and Leeds and Man United play out a snooze fest 0-0!The Champions League and Europa League Semi Finals took place this week and the English clubs have set themselves up nicely. Man City and Man United both came back in the second half to win their games, Man United did it rather emphatically!Chelsea will be disappointed to draw against Real Madrid after dominating for most of the game and Arsenal lose 2-1 but they do have the away goal advantage to take back to the Emirates! Finally, as always, we talk about our weeks on FPL and look ahead to this weekend’s games including a huge clash between Man United and Liverpool! We can’t wait for Gary and Jamie to talk smack 🤣 Tune in and enjoy.
