Her parents reported her as missing and a huge search was carried out in the area. Unfortunately her body would later be found just a mile from her home. A 17 year old man named Andrew Evans would later be convicted for her murder however this conviction was not all that it seemed at the time and he would later be found innocent of the crime.Important information provided by:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/36649.stmhttps://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/tamworth-yorkshire-ripper-judith-roberts-15769992https://www.crimeandinvestigation.co.uk/shows/murdertown/articles/tamworth-crime-profilehttps://www.staffordshire-live.co.uk/news/local-news/how-new-evidence-links-unsolved-2503257https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=ppieCQAAQBAJ&pg=PT103&lpg=PT103&dq=judith+roberts+murder&source=bl&ots=yE13nG4CpS&sig=ACfU3U2-T0wtDKMD3NuQxmnCRwou9HgN8g&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjAkPOF95DjAhX_ShUIHVRUAJk4ChDoATAHegQICRAB#v=onepage&q=judith%20roberts%20murder&f=falsehttps://www.theguardian.com/society/1999/may/12/guardiansocietysupplement4https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2000/jun/09/jeevanvasagarhttps://www.findmypast.co.uk/Music by: www.dl-sounds.com (http://www.dl-sounds.com/)Follow us on social media:Twitter- @theunseenpodFacebook- The Unseen Podcast
