Mary Margaret joined the News 4 Sports team in August 2019 as a Digital Sports Reporter. She comes from the great state of Texas, where she was born and raised, and began her career as a sportscaster. Mary Margaret spent three years as a Sports Reporter and Weekend Sports Anchor at the duopoly of KTAB and KRBC in Abilene, Texas. In her time in West Texas, she got the chance to cover state championships, historic seasons, and the Abilene Christian men’s and women’s basketball teams making it to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history – and, of course, anything and everything Texas high school football! Mary Margaret is extremely excited to be working in a city that is all in for their sports teams. Growing up in Dallas and attending the University of Texas, she is no stranger to intensely loyal fan bases. In her spare time, Mary Margaret enjoys trying out new recipes while cooking, running, and anything and everything outdoors.
