#30 - Moral Injury/ "Burnout"

Ben & Tom discuss the topic of "burnout" or "compassion fatigue" after a suggestion was submitted to the show.  During the show, they reference the ZDoggMD video in regards to this as well, calling it Moral Injury.  The guys briefly discuss the definition and some statistics in regards to moral injury before getting into a more in-depth discussion of how prevalent this is in healthcare.  They also willingly discuss their own experiences in regards to "burnout" or moral injury.  It is a conversation between two healthcare providers about this with the hope that if someone else is out there experiencing this, they will understand they are not alone.  In our "Stories You May Have Missed", the guys look at an interesting cure for hypertension.
