30 - MOTHERHOOD MONDAY - 3 Ways to Support Our Kids in Making New Friends

from Alive & Well – Nervous System, Productivity, Time Management, Somatic Tools, Work-Life Balance, Burnout, Anxiety · host Michelle Grosser

With a new school year around the corner, today I share three ways we can help our children develop their friendship skills. So, whether your child is a social butterfly or more of a lone ranger, there are things we can do to encourage them to have strong and healthy friendships.  Friends enrich our lives.  They can help boost our children’s self-esteem and social skills.  Friendships can also help teach our kids how to communicate with others, practice controlling their emotions, resolving conflict, and apologizing.   All around the world, successful friendships depend on the same fundamental skills - and honing these skills requires experience, effort, practice and a whole lot of coaching and parenting from us.  Tune in today as we discuss three things we can do to help our children have and be great friends.
