In the midst of the accounting of the events of the final 'week' of Daniel's vision, we are reminded of the spiritual war that has been ongoing from the beginning. Satan has been seeking to thwart the plan of God throughout our earthly history. Though he is powerless to accomplish that take, he nevertheless has sought to destroy the Messiah at His birth.
