1 Kings 19:19-21 If you have missed any episodes in our Elijah series, I would highly recommend you go back and listen to them because the episodes build upon each other. Today Elijah finds the man who will be taking his place… Elisha. Elijah throws his cloak onto Elisha symbolizing that he is next....tagging him to take his place. We discuss that when God called Elisha, he was doing normal, every day work. Sometimes our work or tasks may seem "normal"( ie: learning to read, helping with the dishes, etc) BUT they all have purpose when we do them with excellence to glorify God AND often God uses those things to prepare us for what's next.
