As we stood in a lengthy line at Disneyland, my son said, “we have to wait in that line”? I replied, “No. We don’t have to.” Because he’s been through this with me before, it only took a few seconds for him to change his question into a statement. “We GET TO wait in that line”. Get to attitude changes so many things. Will you choose to face your life as a ‘have to’ kind of person or a ‘get to’ kind of person? One leads to growth, opportunity, and a way of seeing that our lives are already abundant. The other, blame, complain, and victimhood. You know where I’ll be if you’d like to join me.
