There's a fact that has become increasingly well known and researched in scientific circles: children are developing myopia - or nearsightedness - at an astounding rate. It is believed that the high utilization of electronic devices for education and entertainment in today's youth has greatly escalated the occurrence of nearsightedness. So what can we do about that? Give our culture's utter dependence, it's not very realistic to remove or even limit the electronic devices enough to make a difference.
