304. 3 Part Word Picture to Share the Gospel

Welcome back to the kitchen table! Teaching our little ones about God can feel challenging, but today Bethany shares a word picture that can help make it clear. Imagine walking into a dark bathroom. The first thing we do is turn on the light so we can see where we are. Without that light, we’re stuck in the dark. In John 8:12, Jesus says, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness.” Just like we need light in the bathroom to see, we need Jesus to guide us through life. When we step into a relationship with him, we leave the darkness behind and step into his light. Once the light is on, everything becomes clear.
