Michael Ehlers, geboren 1972 in Schleswig-Holstein, ist Kommunikations- und Managementtrainer. Er arbeitet unter anderem als Direktor des „Center for Rhetoric“ am SMP Management Program St. Gallen. Seit über drei Jahrzehnten trainiert er Persönlichkeiten des öffentlichen Lebens, darunter Top-Managerinnen und -Manager sowie Profi-Sportlerinnen und -Sportler, in Rhetorik, Durchsetzungsfähigkeit und souveränem Auftreten. In seiner Rolle als Motivationstrainer „Hein Hansen“ veröffentlichte er 2014 das Buch Der Fisch stinkt vom Kopf, das sich als Best- und Longseller etablierte. 2018 folgte mit Rhetorik – die Kunst der Rede im digitalen Zeitalter ein weiterer Bestseller, der mittlerweile als Standardwerk der Rhetorik gilt. Insgesamt hat er neun Bücher veröffentlicht. Als Rhetorik-Experte analysierte er unter anderem für BILD, NTV und WDR die großen politischen TV-Duelle (Trielle) und ist regelmäßig für Medien wie ARD, ZDF, RTL, Focus-Online, BR, NDR, R.SH, WirtschaftsWoche und stern im Einsatz. Sein Ehlers-Rhetorik-Podcast zählt seit 2008 zu den beliebtesten Experten-Podcasts im deutschsprachigen Raum. Als weltweit erster Trainer setzte er „Virtual Reality“ erfolgreich und regelmäßig in seinen Seminaren ein. 2023 wurde er mit dem „Mind Change Award“ für das erste Online-Rhetorik-Training mit Virtual Reality ausgezeichnet: www.i-Rhetorik.de.
