305: Greg Cosell on NFL Matchup, Football Expertise, and Industry Insights

Scott Rosner, Director of the Sports Management Program at Columbia University, brings you a special episode from Radio Row leading up to the Super Bowl. He is joined by Greg Cosell, the Executive Producer of "NFL Matchup," Senior Producer of NFL Films, and Co-author of "The Games That Changed The Game." Cosell reflects on the start of his career, discusses the evolution of the “NFL Matchup” show since its inception in 1984, and highlights the turning point in 1992. With decades of experience in the NFL, Cosell remains humble and still tries to be a student of the game. Cosell offers his insightful thoughts and predictions for this year’s Super Bowl, including his analysis of teams' and players’ performances. He also touches on the transformation of the sports world and how he and his team stay current with the new trends. Despite being well-respected in the industry, Cosell candidly discusses his feelings about recognition and how he handles negative comments.
