#307 Charles Eisenstein – We Already Know the Future We're Meant to Create

In this profound interview, Charles Eisenstein joins Emilio Ortiz to explore the deeper transition unfolding beneath the headlines — a shift not only in systems, institutions, or technology, but in consciousness itself. Together, they dive into the collapse of old narratives, the emergence of a more beautiful world, beauty as a compass for humanity, and why Charles believes what many have prepared for is no longer coming... it's already here. They also explore Charles' idea that human beings carry a "memory of the future" — an intuitive knowing of what humanity is capable of becoming. From separation and scarcity to collective creative power, this conversation invites us to remember, rather than predict, what is possible. "We carry a memory of it. That's why I'm able to speak with authority about it. We have a memory of the future, a memory that comes from outside of time." –Charles Eisenstein ___________________ PODCAST CHAPTERS 0:00 — Charles Eisenstein Intro 05:29 - The Sacred Relationship Between Author & Reader 07:58 - Humanity's Great Transition Has Begun 09:00 - The Real Collapse: An Ontological Crisis of Meaning 10:33 - Why Bunker Mentality Won't Prepare Us for the Future 13:01 - The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible 14:31 - Multiple Futures Exist Simultaneously 15:46 - Choosing Beauty as Humanity's Guiding Compass 18:00 - Consciousness & Radical New Questions 19:22 - Miracles of Synchronicity & the Intelligence of Reality 22:22 - Why Unconditional Love Is the Greatest Miracle 23:48 - Changing Civilization by Changing the Myth 26:55 - The Feeling of a Worldview Shapes Reality 28:29 - The Emergence of a New Human Story 30:16 - Love, Interbeing & the Invitation Into a New Mythology 31:57 - Why Authentic Change Doesn't Come From Mass Persuasion 33:03 - Real Movements Create Us More Than We Create Them 35:43 - Humanity's Shift From Conquering Nature to Healing 36:43 - Being Called Into a Movement Bigger Than Yourself 38:17 - Leadership, Stewardship & Holding a Vision of the Future 41:21 - Speaking Reality Into Existence Through Word 42:05 - The Vision Charles Has Carried for Humanity 43:54 - Humanity's Thousand-Year Future & Collective Creation 45:52 - Remembering the Future Beyond Time 46:49 - Why Hope Never Truly Dies 47:51 - If the Mission Were Impossible, We Wouldn't Be Here 49:40 - The End of Spiritual Loneliness & the Rise of Coherence 50:39 - Genetic Nostalgia for a Lost World 52:19 - Atlantis, Lemuria & Timelines Returning to Reality 53:55 - What Ancient Humanity Remembered That We've Forgotten 56:05 - Longing as Sacred Navigational Information 58:14 - Matter Is More Alive Than We Ever Imagined 01:00:00 - Consciousness, Light & the Hidden Nature of Reality 01:00:36 - The Return of the Divine Child 01:02:07 - Childhood Consciousness & the Art of Unlearning 01:03:22 - How Modern Life Teaches Us Not to Trust 01:05:27 - Learning to Receive Love Again 01:07:08 - Trusting Life, Others & the Universe 01:09:28 - A Prayer for Humanity's Future 01:12:21 - The Question Charles Is Living With 01:14:00 - The Power of Listening & Bringing Truth Into Reality ___________________ Guest: Charles Eisenstein, Philosopher & Writer ✦ Website | https://charleseisenstein.org/ ✦ Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/charles_eisenstein ✦ A Gathering of the Tribe (Short Film) | https://youtu.be/XinVOpdcbVc Host: Emilio Ortiz ✦ IG | https://www.instagram.com/iamemilioortiz/ ✦ Subscribe to Channel | https://www.youtube.com/EmilioOrtiz ___________________ © 2026 Emilio Ortiz.
