Next week marks eight years since the signing of the Revitalized Peace Agreement (R-ARCSS) on 12th September 2018, a deal intended to bring an end to conflict among South Sudan’s warring factions.But today, the agreement is under strain, implementation has stalled, violence is on the rise, and political divisions remain deep.
