Sunday morning was full of praise, prayer, fellowship and to listen to God's Word. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9 In this season of our Mid-Year Giving Review, Paul has much to teach us about this area of giving – of our time, our talents, and especially in these 2 chapters of 2 Corinthians, of our treasure. The ground of our giving is always the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Giving is not intended to be a duty, a chore, or a transaction to earn favour with God – but it is a cheerful, thankful response to the amazing grace of God at work in our lives.
